Silicone is considered to be more environmentally friendly than many other materials because it is durable, long-lasting, and can be recycled. It is non-toxic, does not leach harmful chemicals, and is resistant to extreme temperatures, reducing the need for frequent replacements. However, the production of silicone can still have environmental impacts, such as the use of fossil fuels in its manufacturing process. Overall, silicone is a better alternative to many other materials in terms of its environmental impact, but it is not completely without drawbacks. **

Software friendly refers to a program or system that is designed to easily integrate with other software applications or systems. It means that the software is compatible with various platforms, has well-documented APIs, and is designed with interoperability in mind. A software friendly system allows for seamless communication and data exchange between different software components, making it easier for developers to work with and customize the software to meet their specific needs. **

If fresh silicone joints are not completely smooth, you can touch them up by using a silicone smoothing tool or a wet finger to gently smooth out any imperfections. You can also use a small amount of soapy water to help lubricate the silicone and make it easier to smooth out. Additionally, you can use a silicone sealant finishing tool to create a clean and professional-looking finish. It's important to work carefully and methodically to avoid creating any further imperfections in the silicone joints. **

Yes, silicone does stick to silicone. When two silicone surfaces come into contact, they tend to adhere to each other due to their similar chemical composition. This property makes silicone a popular material for creating airtight seals and bonding silicone-based products together. **

It is generally not recommended to apply new silicone on top of existing silicone. The new silicone may not adhere properly to the old silicone, leading to potential issues with adhesion and durability. It is best to remove the old silicone completely before applying a new layer to ensure a proper bond and a long-lasting seal. **

Yes, silicone can be applied on top of existing silicone. However, it is important to ensure that the existing silicone is clean and free of any dirt, dust, or residue before applying new silicone. Additionally, it is recommended to use a silicone primer to promote adhesion between the old and new silicone layers. This will help to create a strong bond and ensure a durable seal. **

Silicone lenses are a type of contact lens made with a silicone-based material, which allows for increased oxygen permeability to the eye. This can help reduce the risk of eye infections and improve overall comfort. Silicone hydrogel lenses are a specific type of silicone lens that also includes hydrogel, a water-absorbing material that helps keep the lenses moist and comfortable for longer periods of time. These lenses are popular for their breathability and comfort, making them a popular choice for contact lens wearers. **

Payroll taxes are recorded as a liability on the company's balance sheet until they are paid. When payroll taxes are withheld from employees' paychecks, they are recorded as a current liability until they are remitted to the appropriate tax authorities. The employer's portion of payroll taxes, such as Social Security and Medicare taxes, are also recorded as a current liability until they are paid. Once the payroll taxes are paid, the liability is reduced and the corresponding expense is recognized on the income statement. **
