Contempt is a feeling of disdain or lack of respect for someone or something. It involves a strong negative emotion towards the target of contempt, often accompanied by a sense of superiority or moral judgment. Contempt can be expressed through words, tone of voice, or body language, and it can have a damaging impact on relationships and communication. In legal contexts, contempt of court refers to behavior that defies or disrespects the authority of the court. **

One should not tolerate the emotion of contempt, as it can be harmful to both the person feeling contempt and the person being looked down upon. Contempt can lead to negative attitudes and behaviors, such as disrespect and belittling of others. It can also create a toxic environment and damage relationships. Instead of tolerating contempt, it is important to address and work through the underlying issues that may be causing these feelings in order to promote understanding and empathy. **

Hate is a strong feeling of intense dislike or aversion towards someone or something, while contempt is a feeling of disdain or scorn towards someone or something considered to be inferior, base, or worthless. Hate can be directed towards a person, group, or idea, while contempt is usually directed towards a specific individual or their actions. **

One can show contempt for someone without directly insulting or belittling them by using body language, such as eye-rolling, smirking, or turning away in disgust. Additionally, one can show contempt through passive-aggressive behavior, such as ignoring or dismissing the person's ideas or contributions. Another way to show contempt without direct confrontation is through gossiping or spreading rumors about the person. These subtle actions can convey a strong sense of disdain and disrespect without overtly expressing it. **

Hate and contempt are both strong negative emotions, but they have some key differences. Hate is a feeling of intense dislike or aversion towards someone or something, often accompanied by anger and a desire for harm or destruction. Contempt, on the other hand, is a feeling of disdain or scorn towards someone or something, often accompanied by a sense of superiority or moral judgment. While hate is more focused on the intense dislike and desire for harm, contempt is more focused on the feeling of superiority and disdain. **

Payroll taxes are recorded as a liability on the company's balance sheet until they are paid. When payroll taxes are withheld from employees' paychecks, they are recorded as a current liability until they are remitted to the appropriate tax authorities. The employer's portion of payroll taxes, such as Social Security and Medicare taxes, are also recorded as a current liability until they are paid. Once the payroll taxes are paid, the liability is reduced and the corresponding expense is recognized on the income statement. **
